It has been confirmed that music streaming service Deezer has secured $130 million of funding and in its 5 year life span to date has acquired a following of 2 million subscribers. So it finally seems that Spotify may have some real competition on the table. And with rumours that Rdio is in acquisition talks with Microsoft, it seems that things may be about to get interesting.
