Indies not happy about possible Universal-EMI merger

Several independent record labels have spoken out about their concerns about how the purchase of EMI by other major label Universal will monopolise the market and spell bad news for indie labels. Bella Union founder, Simon Raymonde, has written an open letter to Music Week where he shares his concerns and Martin Mills of Beggars Group also hopes the merger will be blocked.
