Digital sales finally overtake physical

Music sales statistics recorded by the BPI revealed that in the past quarter digital sales have overtaken CD and vinyl sales for the very first time in the history of the UK music business. The first quarter of 2012 has generated a massive £86.5 million from digital music alone, but will this trend be continued? Only time will tell.
