Microsoft and MUZU TV lay down gauntlet for independent Irish acts

You'd normally expect unsigned band competitions to take the form of a Battle of the Bands with live heats, or a 'submit your best track' style format. Unsigned & Online is aimed at emerging Irish acts and has a little twist on your typical competition.

Bands and artists are challenged to use a selection of Microsoft products plus social networking in order to boost themselves up the MUZU TV leader board by gaining the largest online fan following. So not only does the competition encourage acts to use and understand technology for self promotion, but there are also some top notch prizes up for grabs as well.
