News: 14th November 2011 by Louise Dodgson under Finance, Law & Music Business

UK Music is the umbrella organisation representing the collective interests of the UK’s commercial music industry from artists, musicians, songwriters and composers to major and independent record labels, managers, music publishers, producers and collection societies. Headed up for the past 3 years by Feargal Sharkey, it was announced last week that Feargal will be leaving UK Music for pastures new, although his future plans have not been disclosed as yet. Senior Policy Advisor, Jo Dipple, will take his place in the meantime until a new Chief Executive is appointed.
