Voucher aims to drive independent label sales

News: 26th August 2011 by Louise Dodgson under Record Labels

In a bid to help encourage spending towards the independent labels that were affected by the fire at the Sony distribution plant a couple of weeks back, PriceMinister have released a voucher code for money off releases by indie labels. With most of their physical stock lost in the fire, these labels do not have anything to ship out to the record shops and will have to keep revenue coming in until they receive insurance payouts...and we know how long those can take to come through.

It would be a crying shame to see some of the smaller labels swallowed by these unfortunate events, so in the meantime the best thing that can be done to help is to keep on purchasing digital releases and drive sales to the labels that need it the most. Please see the links below for details of the voucher code and how it can be redeemed on your purchase.
