UK Music takes on live music representative

News: 12th May 2011 by Louise Dodgson under Finance, Law & Music Business, Live

Quite unbelievably, UK Music, the trade body which represents the whole of the UK music business, has not had a spokesperson for the live music industry on its board until this week. 8 trade organisations for live music including the Agents' Association, Association of Independent Festivals and Production Services Association have almagamated to form UK Live Music Group. The group will convene every 6 weeks and Paul Latham of Live Nation UK will sit on the UK Music board to represent the groups views and opinions. Good news, and about time really!
