Record Store Day takes place this Saturday 16th April so be sure to check out what is happening at your local record shop and go along and show your support! As a follow up to Record Store Day, the following month London's Soho will host a one-off special event on 21st May, quite straightforwardly called Independent Label Market. So, as you might have guessed, a host of independent record labels will be setting up stalls in Berwick Street and surrounding areas, the home to many great record shops past and present, and punters can buy the finest releases direct from the label bosses.
