Record deals still top of the list

The record deal may becoming even more elusive than ever, but that doesn't mean that more bands and artists than ever want to bag themselves one! A survey carried out by Digital Music News and ReverbNation amongst artists shows that a record contract is still top of their list despite the fact that bands and artists are better equipped than ever before to self release music. Over 75% of artists questioned were keen to sign a recording contract rather than follow the DIY route. Interesting stuff!
