New acts added include Thomas J Speight, The Eyes Of A Traitor, Toodar, Ivyrise, Jake Morley, The Kill Van Kulls, Warehouse Republic, Bonfire Nights and Anita Prime. Already confirmed are Moon Visionaries, The Critical, Katalina Kicks, Tigers That Talked plus Canadian singer songwriter Chloe Jones.
Evening events are at venues including The Borderline, The Bowery, The Social, New Cross Inn, the Apple Store, The 100 Club and 229. City Showcase also stages daytime gigs in stores around Carnaby Street and Regent Street plus a programme of workshops for music peeps and music business talent.
Artists who got a break at City Showcase gigs include Amy Winehouse, Gabriella Cilmi, Keane, Newton Faulkner, Ray LaMontagne, Razorlight, Scouting for Girls and Seth Lakeman.
