HMV receives profit warnings

HMV is in talks with its lenders as the music retail chain struggles to meet the terms of its bank loan. Shares in HMV have also dropped by a whopping 22%, urging the retailer to issue a 4th profit warning in the space of 6 months. The closure of 60 stores nationwide is set to take place throughout the year, and rumours have arisen that HMV may also sell off book chain Waterstones in order to keep afloat.
