Pledge Music morphs into record label

Better known as a fan funding service Pledge Music has now turned its hand to acting as a record label and publishing company and has signed its first band to the roster. Below is a Hypebot interview with said band, The Damnwells and Pledge Music founder Benji Rogers.

Also worth checking out below is a chart comparing the crowdfunding services such as Pledge, Sellaband, Slicethepie and My Major Company. It's interesting to see how these companies stack up with number of releases, money made for artists and comparison of commission percentages.
