Perhaps you think the recession wouldn't affect those wealthy Rock stars. But for those that are out on the road, rather than basking in the LA sun around their swimming pools, they have definitely seen first hand the way the recession stretches to them. Ticket and merchandise sales are dropping in some instances, with some acts reducing ticket prices in response to this problem. The BBC's article below discusses why illegal downloading may not be musician's main enemy at the moment...
