The music industry has seen a lot of changes and development during 2010. What could possibly be on the agenda during the coming year? The clever folks at Mashable have had a ponder and come up with their '5 Predictions for the Music Industry in 2011' which is well worth perusing.

According to them, the internet is set to take over with social media becoming even more prominent for artists, music videos continuing to smash YouTube, and they also predict that music subscription services will grow in popularity, but still not earn a profit. Are we about to see the ISP music service appear over the horizon?
