Calling all independent labels! New chart database to be unveiled

News: 23rd November 2010 by Louise Dodgson under Record Labels

The Official Charts Company is soon to launch a new chart database and is calling upon all independent labels to get in touch and let them know about their digital releases. Even those that do not have a distribution deal set up can still offer their details for inclusion in the database.

Previously, the OCC has been compiling their digital sales chart from information provided by the PPL, but as not all labels are registered with the PPL, they have decided to find an alternative way of gathering a more comprehensive overview. Therefore Digital Audio Database, or DAD as it is also known, will take over in January 2011. Take a look at the link below for details of how you can get in touch.
