Warner Music Group reports quarter loss

Warner has suffered a drop in revenue of 13% this past quarter. Apparently good sales in the UK and Italy were not enough to counteract poor performance in the US, Japan and other territories. Oh dear.

However, in other Warner news the label has renewed its contract with music streaming service Spotify in the UK, although it is yet to do the same in America. There are a few differences to be considered between Spotify in the US and the UK, which seem to be delaying the process at the moment.
