RadarMusicVideos wins music start-up award at Music4.5 conference

RadarMusicVideos were chosen yesterday as the best tech start-up by a panel of six judges from the investment and music start-up world. They came up on the outside track to beat three companies nominated for the TechCrunch Europa awards taking place later this month. Apparently Radar were chosen on the basis that they fulfil a clear need in the marketplace and on their factual understanding of their growth potential.
RadarMusicVideos works with independent artists, small labels and some majors to enable them to commission high quality, low budget music videos. They also offer seed promotion for independent music videos through promotion partners including YouTube, MTV, TiVo and the BBC.
Music 4.5 brings together serial entrepreneurs, investors, music tech start-ups, artists, band managers and key industry players to share knowledge, discuss strategies for business success, debate market trends and evolution, as well as network.
Judges were:

Milo Yiannopoulis, The Telegraph and Wall Street Journal, Europe;
Alasdair George, Edge Group and Edge Performance VCT Investment;
Leon Alexander, Hope Music Group;
Rick Riccobono, New Media Law;
Hugh Stanley Clark, Gigaboxx.
