MySpace redesign begins to roll out

So what is the inspiration and purpose behind the new look MySpace? Music Ally tells us: 'The site is being refocused as a ’social entertainment’ destination rather than a social networking service, with music, games and video discovery brought to the fore.'

But will it be enough to breathe some new life into the flagging social networking platform? Still widely used by bands and musicians, MySpace does have reason to hang in there, so let's hope this reinvention will be the ticket it needs.
