UK digital sales on the up

Stats compiled by the BPI and the Official Charts Company show a staggering rise in digital album sales in the UK which have now hit the 50 million mark. Apparently 4 of every 5 albums sold is still on CD format though so there is still some way to go before digital sales will truly soar.
