100 Club may face closure

News: 23rd September 2010 by Louise Dodgson under Live

A historic venue which has seen an eclectic mix of artists grace the stage including The Clash, Lonnie Donegan, Squarepusher and The White Stripes; The 100 Club has been a renowned fixture on the London venue circuit since 1942.

So we are sad to hear that due to financial troubles the venue may face closure after all these years. Although the venue is busier than ever, rapidly increasing overheads mean that it will struggle to stay open until Christmas 2010 unless a buyer or sponsor can step in.

We really hope this doesn't mean the end for the 100 Club and have everything crossed in the hope that the venue remains for years to come.
