Unsigned band raise tour sponsorship from major brand

Unsigned UK band Turbowolf have signed a major sponsorship agreement with drinks manufacturer Relentless Energy Drinks that will allow them to fund an extensive European tour with US rock giants Korn later this month.

Hotly tipped Bristol based band Turbowolf have been invited by Korn to be special guests on their forthcoming European tour, which starts on September 19th in Amsterdam and continues for nine dates across Germany, Belgium, Austria & Switzerland.

Alongside tour support the company are supplying Turbowolf with a Relentless Energy Drinks branded tour bus to use on the dates and in return Turbowolf are making a short film about their experiences while on the tour, which be shown exclusively on the Relentless Energy Drinks website later this year.

Relentless Energy Drinks have been actively involved in music related events since launching in the UK four years ago and have previously sponsored a number of artist tours and festivals alongside both the Kerrang! Awards and the accompanying Kerrang! Relentless tour.

Whilst the brand has been involved with unsigned talent previously, supporting a new artist to this extent is unprecedented and shows their commitment to Turbowolf, a band that Relentless have previously included on their festival stages.

The Korn tour  is the latest development in a series of live successes that has seen Turbowolf perform at a string of major festivals this summer, including a well received set at Sonisphere.

Immediately after the Korn dates Turbowolf are scheduled to embark on an extensive UK tour with Dinosaur Pile-Up throughout October.

Turbowolf have been well supported by the UK rock media and earlier this year completed recording of their self-funded, as-yet-untitled debut album. The first tracks from these sessions will be self-released as an EP entitled ‘The Big Cut’ available only at the shows.

Les Seddon-Brown of Relentless Energy Drinks said, “We don’t particularly look at the genre or size of a band when looking to get involved in this type of project, we support the attitude behind the music and the people involved. With so many artists out there creating incredible work, this feels like a natural thing for Relentless to be involved in. We are thrilled to be supporting Turbowolf on the forthcoming Korn tour and we’re sure they’ll blow the crowds away as well as give the headliners a run for their money with their passionate and balls out live shows.”
