Ticketmaster take steps to eradicate hidden ticket costs

How frustrating is it when you begin the process of booking gig tickets online through one of the major ticket vendors, to reach the end of the process with multiple extra charges added onto the original ticket price?! Massively frustrating, I'm sure you'll agree! 

Well, hopefully this will shortly be a thing of the past, as today Ticketmaster have taken the first steps to change this. Although the charges will not be eradicated completely (we can only dream...) the total ticket price will be declared up front so you know exactly what you are paying for from the get-go. Check out the post on Ticketmaster's blog, Ticketology, which explains all. Let's hope other ticket retailers will follow suit...
