Streaming services still main choice for investors...

News: 28th July 2010 by Stef Loukes under Selling & Distributing Your Music

Billboard have analysed and revealed the figures behind investments into music-related start ups in the first half of this year. The majority of the 30 deals show that digital or streaming services are currently the prominent choice for investors. Some of the companies include MOG, Veoh, ArtistData and Buzz Media - which involved an investment in music news site Gorilla Vs Bear and the aquisition of PureVolume.

It's interesting to see that investors are finally starting to look towards digital and streaming services as a valuable asset in today's music industry.
