HMV Digital service to go live soon

News: 16th July 2010 by Louise Dodgson under Selling & Distributing Your Music

Tipped to be a possible rival to iTunes, HMV's digital offering will go live at the end of July. So far it has been running in beta testing but HMV Digital, which was developed in partnership with 7digital, will be all systems go very shortly. The high street chain has previously introduced a download service which failed to win over the public due to it being bound by DRM. This will no longer be an issue with HMV Digital, so it will be interesting to see if this new service takes off.
