Major promoters to reduce ticket prices

Following their merger back in May, large scale live music promoters Live Nation and Ticketmaster have announced that they will launch cheaper tickets for gigs, festivals and events. This is no doubt welcome news for music fans who have been increasingly forced to shell out more & more for gig tickets over the past few years, not to mention adding on booking fees and postage charges which can sometimes be pretty unreasonable!

Live Nation and Ticketmaster, as well as the rest of the music world, hope this will encourage more ticket sales and inject further strength into the live music sector.
