1 in 12 festival tickets sold are fake

Pretty miserable stats declaring that 1 in 12 music fans buying tickets for UK festivals is likely to be duped into purchasing a counterfeit ticket through a fake website. Fake-ticketing websites have been around for a little while but in recent years there has been a boom, and in response to this the Office of Fair Trading have created a website offering guidelines to help music fans avoid being scammed with fake tickets.
