GarageBand shuts down

News: 25th June 2010 by Louise Dodgson under Selling & Distributing Your Music

I actually didn't realise that GarageBand had been around for 10 years, which certainly is a feat in itself. Unfortunately, the online music service which provided unsigned bands with a platform to promote and sell their music and acted as a music discovery resource for fans, has closed its doors. There doesn't seem to be any confirmation on what the reason is for GarageBand closing as yet, but the creators are actively involved with MySpace and iLike, so no doubt they have other areas they wish to move onto. Anybody signed up to GarageBand who feels they are entitled to a refund can follow the instructions provided in the link below.
