Glam rockers KISS search for US unsigned bands

This is an american news item but one we thought we'd cover as no doubt we'll be seeing lots more of this type of thing happening in the UK. In association with US based retailer Guitar Center and digital media company Eventful, KISS have announced a competition for 22 unsigned bands to support them on their forthcoming North American tour. Conventional record deals and promotional techinques are thin on the ground these days so more innovative ways of breaking new artists mean you have to be in it to win it.
