Tube buskers a hit!

News: 28th May 2010 by Louise Dodgson under Live

It seems that the lilting sound of buskers travelling down the rabbit warren of the London Underground gives commuters a spring in their step on their way to a day in the office. A licensed busking scheme introduced on the Tube back in 2003 has not only proved a hit with the commuters, but also the performers themselves, some of which have gone onto sign record deals following the exposure.

Auditions are being held for more underground performers so if you're based in the big smoke, go ahead and get involved!
