EMI and The Roundhouse provide unsigned recording opportunities
News: 25th May 2010 by Louise Dodgson under Live, Record Labels, Recording & Production
Are you an unsigned artist between 16-25 years old?
Keen to work with great producers?
Would you jump at the chance to record your music for free?
EMI and the Roundhouse have teamed up once again for 30/30 in 2010. Every day this September, we’re offering 30 artists/bands one free day of recording time in the EMI Studio at the Roundhouse. If you’ve got a track ready to record, then we’ll provide you with a top producer and you’ll walk away with a professional recording. You’ll also have the chance to put your questions to a panel of EMI experts, so by the end of the month you’ll have your finished tune and an insight into the music industry.
All applicants MUST:
• be aged 16-25 years old
• be ready to record a track
• be able to attend 3 key dates:
1. 30/30 Launch Night – 18 August
2. one day recording session (TBC September)
3. Industry panel discussion – 13 October
GET STARTED... Download the 30/30 application form at www.roundhouse.org.uk/3030 then complete and return to [email protected]
THEN... Upload your track via Soundcloud www.soundcloud.com/roundhouseldn – remember to clearly label your track with artist name & song title
