6Music pay out to lesser known songwriters

According to independent research carried out by collection society PRS For Music it was identified that around 750 songwriters received payment for airplay of their music from BBC 6Music, but not from any other station which indeed stands as testament of how valuable the station is to non-mainstream songwriters, bands and artists.
