Alive Network, the UK’s largest live entertainment agency, is offering unsigned artists the chance to win a complete EP package worth over £3,500.
The competition includes 10 days of studio time in The Silk Mill – Alive Network’s privately owned world-class studios – to record, mix and master up to 5 tracks, as well as a live video and photo shoot.
The generous prize has been announced as Alive Network celebrates its 18th birthday as the UK’s most successful live entertainment agency, providing artists with well-paid performance opportunities.
Founded in 1999 to help original musicians make a living from music, Alive Network is now one of the UK’s biggest employers of musicians, and has to date earned over £75 million for its artists.
Its studios, The Silk Mill, are some of the best privately owned recording and production facilities in the UK.
Former pro musician and Alive Founder Dave Bevan says: “There are loads of great at-home recording facilities out there for unsigned artists, but time in a seriously good studio, as well as great production, is still a cost that is out of reach to most artists just starting out.
“The winner of this competition will get to record in an incredible studio, produce top class professional promo, and hopefully give their career a major shot in the arm.”
