Blog by Louise Dodgson under Artist Managers, Live, Media

Yorvic Music are on the lookout for unsigned & emerging bands & artists to play live on their new filmed-for-web music show, The Cut. Producers say the show will take on a similar format to ‘Late Night with Jools Holland’. The Cut will be staged in an intimate music venue featuring live performances from multiple guests & interviews with featured artists giving bands the opportunity to promote new material to an untapped, wider audience. The Cut is hosted & produced by The Valaitis Brothers who will also be playing live on the first show.

If you think you’ve got what it takes and want to put your band forward, simply go to The Cut and subscribe or send the producers an email at [email protected]

The first show will be filmed Friday 6th Feb with some great new talent already lined up including The Twirling Canes, Shaun Colwill , Suburban Dirts and The Valaitis Brothers. Check out these videos here.

So, if you’re a in a band, singer-songwriter, rapper, grime artist – as long as it’s good, The Cut want to hear from you. Plus any independent labels or managers with artists to put forward then let The Cut producers know, it’s all about representing the best talent out there.

The Cut Producers - "To say the internet has changed the music industry would be a crushing understatement. It’s an invaluable resource for artists to reach an audience they would never otherwise be able to. However, the internet has become inundated with artists & bands looking to promote themselves, constantly jostling for web space. The Cut is a great platform to come and showcase your best songs to a new audience."

For more information visit The Cut here. And don't forget, wherever in the world your band or music project is based, you can still get involved with The Cut. Producers can Skype interview bands & artists and broadcast your existing video footage as part of the show. Be sure to email [email protected] to find out more. To watch the The Cut simply subscribe here.
