The music industry's worst nightmare

In China the sales of recorded music are unbelievably low. The nation has been thriving off pirated music for decades now; cassettes, CDs and now illegal downloads. Unfortunately, music fans over there don't know any different so this could be a glimpse into the future for the music industry as to what may come to pass around the rest of the world eventually?
