Both Sides Now want Leeds female music creators for project exploring making music for film and TV
News: 6th September 2019 by Louise Dodgson under Music Publishing, Music Training & Careers
As part of Brighter Sounds' Both Sides Now initiative designed with the aim to make the music industry more equal, a new partnership with Studio12 offers a fantastic opportunity for female music makers to develop their skills, meet new people and learn about what a career as a film and TV composer involves.
This project is aimed at Leeds-based female music creators aged 16-25 years. The successful applicants will spend 5 days creating, recording and mixing their own short film scores with award-winning composer Laura Rossi, get an insight into a career as a film and TV composer from Channel 4, and showcase their work at the INDI Film Festival.
