Entries for The GIT Award open to Merseyside artists & bands

The GIT Award has been celebrating the best musical talent from Liverpool and Merseyside for many years now and has even been dubbed the Merseyside Mercury Prize. The doors are open for entries from bands and artists based in these areas for this years award. The winner will be announced in May and given a cash prize of £1,000, plus recording time at Liverpool's Parr Street Studios. At the moment the judging team are working to find 12 nominees for the award and submissions are open until 31st January if you want to put yourself forward for consideration. Just send over 4 tracks to [email protected] which will then be reviewed by the judging panel.
