Just as one of the world's best known festivals Glastonbury sells out in record time, the AIF (Association of Independent Festivals) have launched a new charter which should help prevent against the resale of festival tickets through outlets such as Ebay, Viagogo and Seatwave. The main issue with secondary ticketing has always been ticket touts snapping up tickets and selling them on, typically online, for largely increased prices and over 55 live related companies including promoters, festival organisers, artist managers and booking agents have offered their support to the charter.
