Music spend goes down

Some interesting new stats provided courtesy of the PRS For Music show that out of UK consumers' total expenditure the percentage allocated on music is diminishing. Back in 1997 the amount was 0.38% of total expenditure, however these days it is clocking in at 0.29%. Not great news, but the recession was bound to catch up sometime.
