Did you know that every time music is publicly played or a copy is made, royalties are generated? If you’ve ever wanted to know how to receive songwriting royalties for live shows or radio plays, or are confused about the difference between PRS and PPL, then help is at hand.
On Tuesday 14th February between 1pm-2pm, Daniel Jones, PRS for Music’s Education & Outreach Manager for the North of England will be online to discuss everything you need to know about PRS and MCPS, the rights contained within a song and the different sources of royalties that songwriters and composers can earn from.

They represent the rights of over 124,000 songwriter, composer and music publisher members across the world, and help ensure they are rewarded when their music is played, performed or copied.
