A good producer or studio engineer will often add an extra dimension to your sound. A good producer should be considered as an extra member of your band and employing their services could make or break the success of your next demo. It is perhaps a decision that many bands overlook but in many cases well worth the investment in a bid to get your songs head & shoulders above everything else submitted to A&R scouts and managers. If you are selling music online, a good producer will also be able to master your songs ready for digital distribution.
The Unsigned Guide contains contact details for over 120 producers, covering all areas of the UK. Many producers listed have vast amounts of experience of working with signed bands and international artists, so you could certainly do worse than to heed the musical and directional advice they offer.
As well over 120 producers, The Unsigned Guide contains 32 other sections including recording studios, rehearsal rooms, management companies, online distributors, video promo services, UK festivals, press and articles and advice from the likes of Musicians Union, MCPS-PRS Alliance, Sunday Best Recordings and IFPI.
