Welcome to this week's neatly bundled package of music industry news!

We have quite a variety of items for you this week including the lowdown on the proposed new digital album format conjured up between Apple and a number of record labels. There are also details of the unsigned line-up for the BBC Introducing stage at Leeds & Reading festivals, plus SxSW is soon to open its doors to band applications for their 2010 event.
