Gig of the fortnight: Music-News Underground presents Inland Empire, Floone and Bony Ghosts, Ruby Lounge, Sat 16th January
 New Year means plenty of new gigs to get yourself along to, so why not start with this one? (If you can manage to negotiate the Big Freeze, of course!!)
Music-News.com is a rather good website filled with news (no surprise there), reviews and interviews from the UK music scene, and it’s also the brains behind this one-off night at Ruby Lounge. The website has its own where bands can get in touch if they’re interested in playing a gig or getting themselves reviewed on the site. If the folks like what they hear, then they’ll sign the band up to play one of their nights somewhere in the UK, giving up and coming unsigned acts the rare chance to play outside their own city with a bit of outside support.
Tonight’s line up includes Inland Empire, local band Floone and Bony Ghosts. We strongly suspect that Music-News will run a tight ship and serve up some quality new music - and if you like what you see, you could always approach the website yourself to play a gig in the future…
