Have you found the Manchester music scene supportive?
We've had a lot of support from Manchestermusic.co.uk, BBC Manchester, Clint Boon at XFM, High Voltage and The Fugitive Motel blog and some of the promoters like Phil Daker.
What’s your top tip for bands trying to make in this city and beyond?
It's seriously hard to get gigs outside of your own city when you start out. Try and get friends in different cities to organise gigs for you at first or try buddying up with other bands on the same level in different cities and do a gig swap.
To get to the point we're at now - where we actually get approached by promoters from across the UK - I think you need to be trying to make a splash on the national airwaves and in the press. Getting XFM playlisting and Radio 1 play helped no end and this comes through getting your stuff out to people and winning over some people in the media.
It generally doesn't just happen by itself - we've worked pretty hard at getting stuff out.
What’s next for you?
We've a single and video coming up in the next month or so, are recording an album at the moment and are playing as many gigs as humanly possible.
